Some would say we didn’t see eye-to-eye when we first met, perhaps a clash of dominant egos. Others would say it was just like a schoolyard crush, teasing and tormenting each other just for the fun of it.
But the intense demands of our working lives meant that we had no choice except to be there and to support each other every step of the way. And so an amazing friendship blossomed and grew even when our careers had moved us to different parts of Australia.
Then late one night, an amazing kiss in an elevator would change everything. No longer could we ignore the bonds that ran deeper than either of had realized or wanted to admit.
Our holiday to Bali cemented our feelings for each other and we knew we were both done. We had found our other half, the person that complements and completes the picture.
Fast forward an incredible nine months and many frequent flyer points later and we were engaged!
And now four years on from when we met for the very first time, through lots of laughs and probably too many cocktails we are getting married!
Who would have thought this is where it would all end up.
